Vanessa Schneider

Hello! I'm Vanessa, and I'm an enthusiastic and joyful person. I love animation and music and sharing my passions with others. I'm also attentive to details and quickly adaptable to new projects, workflow and rigs. I have experience in character animation in Maya and Blender, also humanoid and prop rigging experience in Maya.Currently, I'm in my last year of studying character animation at Animationsinsitut of Filmakademie Baden-Württenberg!

STUDENT PROJECTS:


Town Hall Square (2022)
The frustrated subway ticket seller Bernard is confronted with the appearance of a little tiger, which not only turns "Town Hall Square" subway station but also Bernard's whole life upside down and leads him back to happiness.
Town Hall Square is the diploma project by Christian Kaufmann and currently on festival tour.


AVL - Das Müllsical (2022)
The city of Ludwigsburg has new recycling system, and what better way to introduce the new trashcans with a song.
The project was done by students from Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. We received Silver and Bronze at this year's ADC Talent Award


Fish Or Chips (2021)
Welcome to Deep Fryton Beach - home of chips and cheer!
Follow a flock of hungry, chips-addicted seagulls in lockdown on Instagram, as they are trying to cope without chips
Fish or Chips is a project envisioned by students of Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg's Animationsinstitut. It consists of the creation of an entire IP as well as two projects derived from it: A short animated movie as well as an interactive experience.


The Archive (2020)
The little robot George lives in an archive. Every day, he sorts tubes into cabinets until one day a stuck drawer messes up everything.
The film was my graduation project, completed at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz in July 2020.
